Instructors can import class rosters directly from Google Classroom. After the initial sync is enabled, changes that occur in Google Classroom will be automatically synced with LanSchool Air every night.
The sync can be re-initiated at anytime to force a refresh of your class rosters from Google Classroom.
At this time, classes imported from Google Classroom only support students using Chromebook devices.
If your site admin has enabled Clever integration, Google Classroom syncing will be unavailable.
Refer to the video below for a brief demonstration of how to import Google Classroom classes into LanSchool Air:
Sync with Google Classroom
Log into LanSchool Air.
Select the Menu icon in the top left corner to open the left navigation menu.
Select SYNC GOOGLE ACCOUNT.
A pop-up will appear, prompting you to sign in with a Google Account. Make sure your pop-up blocker is disabled.
Select ALLOW when prompted to grant LanSchool Air access to view your Google Classroom classes.
LanSchool Air imports your classes from Google Classroom, notifies you when the sync is complete, and displays the new classes.
At this time, the import will fail if any of your Google Classroom classes contain more than 100 students in the roster.
Unsync from Google Classroom
If you unsync your Google account, all classes that were imported from Google Classroom will be removed from LanSchool Air.
Log into LanSchool Air.
Select the Menu icon to open the left navigation menu.
