Configuring Idle Timeout

Overview

By default, instructors will be automatically logged out of LanSchool Air after they have been idle for 2 hours. 

Site Admin users can configure the idle timeout settings to increase the amount of time instructors can remain idle before being automatically logged out. This helps instructors remain productive and reduces time spent logging back into LanSchool Air. 

Configuring Idle Timeout

  1. As a Site Admin, log into LanSchool Air.
  2. Click on the menu at the top left and go to LanSchool Air Settings.



  3. Select General.



  4. Under Idle Timeout, click on the drop down and choose either 2, 4 or 8 hours.



  5. Click Save.
